Four of Swords — “There is a need for respite now. Lay down your sword . . . replenish. . . understand your limits.”
We were supposed to go for a long hike today . . . but instead I took a 4-5 hour nap! I’m not sure if I was recovering from yesterday’s sunburn, was experiencing something energetic, or was just simply exhausted from the long week. However, I’m learning to listen to my body and its needs and knew it was better not to push through my weariness.
As I slept in and out of consciousness I enjoyed some funky, fleeting dreams and noticed the energy pouring out through my toes in a some kind of gentle release.
I did manage to get a little done, getting in some needed grocery shopping and then making some pho with Brian for dinner. (I had no idea how delicious it could be!) This was inspired by my recent akashic record health analysis that suggested kimchi, cinnamon and cardamom, among other foods. We also picked up quite a few other recommended items to add to our growing rainbow cornucopia of fruits and vegetables: mandarins, carrots, cantaloupe, red and green kale, spinach, cauliflower and broccoli, red and green cabbage, dragon fruit, bananas, lemons, and grapefruit. I also grabbed some dark chocolate and nutritional yeast. Now I just have to make myself eat all this stuff!
I registered for a virtual breathwork class today, but since it was canceled, I instead picked out one of the movies my Facebook community had recommended: In & Of Itself. It was well-done and made me both contemplate life and shed some tears, so . . . success! Brian and I ended the evening with working on our Lake Medina RV park video to get caught up on all of our Texas content.
I don’t feel like I did anything in the way of metaphysical study today, but I know the healthy food we grabbed will help set the stage for a good mind/body connection this week. This writing is supposed to also be important to my development, so I plan to keep this going as much as possible. And I’ll probably squeeze in a quick meditation before bed.
How was your weekend? Much love and many blessings. 🙂
