Receive

background-2908901_1920 2.jpg

I’ve been listening to Abraham Hicks and still working my way through the Artist’s Way.  Both very synchronistically converged this week.  They talked about being in receptive mode.  Our thoughts are not our thoughts.  Our creations are not our creations.  But they await us, ready to be transmitted, transmuted, transformed,   We need only to receive.  Beautiful night tonight.

Much love and many blessings. ❤

2 Tips for Perspective Flips

Thank you to all for another day of life.

Yesterday my coach gave me two very positive insights that I hope will benefit you as well:

Focus on “Abundance”

So much of our life experience is dependent on perspective.  Maybe “abundance” isn’t your word.  Maybe it’s “love.”  Or maybe “health.”  Or “life.”  Or “gratitude.”  Whatever it is, you have it — as soon as you can see it.  This has been an ongoing lesson for me and continues to fascinate me.  I have even watched my perspective flip 180 degrees after I am given a new piece of information.  (And even sometimes back 180 degrees again with another new thought!)

Recognize What You Have Created

Do you feel like you’re in a rut?  Do you feel like you’re not creating?  Well, you are creating — even if it looks like a big mishy-moshy rut! (And that’s ok, too.)   If you’re looking for something different, take a deep breathe.  Then, give yourself a jumpstart by reminding yourself of all of the things you’ve created in your life.  Maybe start simple with the past month or year.  Even the things you regret have taught you something (remember that perspective flip!)  So, take a good look at everything — but give some extra love and attention to those things you’re most proud of.  If there’s one that comes quickly to mind, remember what it felt like to accomplish it.  Remember the energy you experienced in both its creation and its fulfillment.  And know that you can do it again.

Much love and many blessings to you all. ❤

Embracing the Creator Within

ID-100294264I experienced a great high this past weekend after attending the Genius Code Spiritual Focus Session.  I felt I finally could acknowledge that I was a creator, and a good one.  It gave me so much light, hope, and confidence.

5 days later I have not yet given myself rest.   I have more purpose, but I’ve lost my spark.  I haven’t meditated in days, and my concentration exercises have been sparse.  This is what I need — to experience what it is like without them.  It feels like how I used to be — insecure, disconnected, and scattered.

I start anew. And then I go to sleep!

What About This Chaos?

ID-1007068

My life became chaotic this past month.  It’s finally calming down now.  I’ve been trying to figure out the meaning behind it all, and the beautiful thing is — there isn’t simply one meaning.  I can look at this craziness from different perspectives.

From one perspective — I created this chaos, and probable because I enjoy it.  My metaphysics teacher told me this, and I agreed with her.  “Create with purpose!” she told me.  “If your life is full of purposeful activity, you will have no need for all of this craziness.”  I am indeed a creator.  I would like my creations to be a little less stressful, indeed. . .

From another view, the universe is trying to teach me some lessons.  Often when I try to micromanage parts of my existence, things completely unravel.  I then question: “Is all of my work for naught?”  Well, yes.  Because the purpose of my existence is not to force my life to fit into a neat little box.  I’m to be a creator! An explorer! A student of life! A spiritual teacher!  It seems the universe is warning me that my priorities are all out of whack.  I’m too focused on my environment, on what is outside of me.  I think I’m finally listening, universe!

So, here I sit, in the calm after the storm, looking out into the horizon.  No matter what storm hits this place, I must keep a cool interior.

Dreams: You did WHAT?? with WHOM??

The dream is always about the dreamer.  I know this.  However, I still find some sex dreams disturbing — depending on who is participating with me!  Your sexual preference is not important to your subconscious.  In fact, reality as we know it is not really important to your subconscious.  The subconscious focuses on basic symbols.

Yesterday morning I had a very vivid sex dream; one of the most vivid I’ve ever had.  And it was with a woman.  Normally this is nothing for me, but I know the woman very well, and so it was definitely weird.  However, I moved on, knowing that the woman was really just another part of me.  People in our dreams are aspects of ourselves, and people of the same sex as we are represent conscious aspects of ourselves.  But then in the interpretation I was a bit stumped: a woman and a man having intercourse in a dream represent creation, so what about two people of the same sex?   I knew I’d heard something about this before, but I couldn’t remember, and I couldn’t find it in my dream dictionary.

This is where having a teacher comes in handy.  I asked my metaphysics teacher about it in class that same night: “Does this mean that I’m getting more intimate with my conscious mind?” I asked.   “Yes. . .” she said, but she went on to ask me what else that meant.  She said I was leaving subconscious out of it; I was attempting to create with just my conscious mind.

But I still didn’t get it.  (What does that mean?)

“What’s something you have on your 10 Most Wanted List?” she then asked me.

“A finished basement,” I responded (my latest project).

“Well, using your conscious mind might involve figuring out the cost, and checking if you have the money in the bank, and going to the store, and picking out what you need. Using your subconscious mind would involve visualization and using the Universal Laws.  Like, imagining  exactly how you want the  basement to look and putting your attention on it being that way.  Maybe you meditate on how you will get the money, or give to others and claim 10-fold, so that the universe will help you receive what you need.”

Ahh!  Now this made perfect sense to me.  Yes, I had been very detailed and focused on the physical elements of the project.  And I had been very pleased with this.   I had done some basic visualization but had not asked for specific guidance from the universe and had not had faith in the abundance available.  In a nutshell, I was all in my head, not unified with myself for ultimate creation.  And this was not just about the basement.  I could see it playing out in many aspects of my life.  I’m trying to add more visualization to my life little-by-little.

Have you had any freaky dreams?  They are probably actually more normal than you think!  Now I’m off to bed.  I barely remembered anything this morning, and I want some new learning material!
